imageI walked along the harbour’s edge. I saw none. I heard a radio from a ship. I heard the hum of cars on the expressway behind me. I saw many rusting machines. My city was built in the industrial age. Even the ground I walked on was manufactured. I thought of all the goods that have come and gone. I thought of all the people that have come and gone. I thought of how I came and of how eventually I too will go.
