I’m a personal fan of
Bookhou Design, especially of the impressive wallet series by Arounna Khounnoraj. The design studio was established by Toronto designers
John Booth and
Arounna Khounnoraj to showcase their individual and collaborative works. John received his art education from Queens University and also received a degree in architecture from the University of Toronto. His current works explore simple form with a focus on structure in both furniture and painting. Arounna is a graduate from the Ontario College of Art and has a B.F.A from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and finished with an M.F.A from the University of Waterloo. Both of her mediums explore pattern and image and she divides her time between elegant textile design and sophisticated artwork which explores sculpture, drawing and printmaking. You be the judge, their works are available for purchase on-line and furniture products are made to order.
