The designers behind Canstruct Canada's latest series of installations continue their inspired work this year at the TD Tower. The winners of the friendly competition meant to spur donations to food banks are:

• Jurors’ Favourite: Taken Under Wing by Halsall Associates Ltd. with Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects
• Structural Ingenuity: Transform Hunger by Turner Fleischer Architects Inc.
• Best Use of Labels: Soak Up Hunger by CH2M Hill
• Best Meal: Clean Up Hunger in Aisle 2 by BA Consulting Group Ltd.



Daily Bread Food Bank
Daily Bread Food Bank is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to fighting hunger. Last year, more than 905,000 people in the Greater Toronto Area relied on food banks; 34% of those clients were children and 27% in full time employment. Daily Bread and its member agencies serve the majority of these people through neighbourhood food banks and meal programs in over 160 member agencies. In an effort to eliminate the need for food banks, Daily Bread educates the public, conducts research and advocates realistic government policies.
