Equipment used to contain the nuclear leak now abandoned

Recently we've been reading more and more that nuclear power is once again seen as a panacea for our energy needs. There are statistics from both sides of the pro/con nuclear argument - too many to recount here. Investigating the viability of nuclear power we came across this photo essay by a young Ukrainian, Elena Filatova. I'm sure there are similar images about the Chernobyl disaster but the "road trip" nature of these photos strikes deep into our North-American psyches.
