Ione Thorkelsson's show on mass death, floods, epidemics, genocide, and acts of war opens tonight at Toronto Free Gallery. 660 Queen East, 7-10 PM.
Other events today include the WWF/Newmindspace installation at Metro Hall Square where the intrepid crew of 40 has spent the night inflating 1,000 or so balloons. This installation is a must-see event in today's schedule. Get there. Mayor David Miller arrives this morning at around 9:00. "CITY was just here. There are a bunch of people with video cameras and people taking pictures. Not sure who everyone is, really. There are just a lot of people."
