Soft Toronto At Fort York
![]() One of the other interesting moments at the Spacing Party was the "Soft City" installation. The roughly two metre by seven metre installation of cloth buildings delighted everyone but was especially welcomed by kids perplexed by the assortment of 19th century military regalia and weapons. Want to know more? So do I. One of the artists promised to respond to this posting. When she does I'll update the blog. Update The soft city also known as Upburg, is an ongoing project by the Upbag collective. We are soft people creating a soft city one building at a time. We truly care how people live-in and navigate their city. And we believe people deserve a plush and kind homestead with no sharp edges. We run workshops where children and the young-at-heart can contribute, design and build structures with our help and guidance. [email this story] Posted by R Ouellette on 05/19 at 03:46 PM
