The Science Centre Experience
Bubble images produced from existing pictures or from pictures taken in real time -- kids love this

For those of you with kids who haven't been to the Ontario Science Centre since you were a kid, it is time to visit the venerable Don Mills institution again. The dusty old exhibits are gone replaced with new, interactive exhibits that are far more engaging than anything I remember. The new interactive spaces actually have natural light! Gone are the tomb-like exhibit rooms of the past -- well, some are at least.

What is really remarkable about the new learning spaces is the degree to which they rely on interactive digital technologies to embrace children in an immersive learning environment. Also note that local artist David Rokeby opens a new permanent installation next month.
